To my dear Ladybug...

I can't believe it's been 2 years since you were relieved from your pain and got to go to doggy heaven. I get to see this fire hydrant everyday on my way to work and it always reminds me of you. You are still loved and we still miss you a lot!

Good family fun

This is what happens when new camera + wig + family time are put together.

And welcoming Max, the newest member of my sister's family. He was rescued from the shelter. He is a super sweet puppy and he is so good to put up with us putting a hat on him and taking his picture.
I think he looks like Cosmo. Yay for Max!

Lost camera :(

I lost my camera last Saturday at a campground up the canyon here in Price. I shouldn't be so sad about a piece of metal but if you think about it, it's with me through a lot... Even though it was big and was only a 5 MP camera, it still makes me sad. I got it on Christmas, Cosmo's first Christmas in fact. It was there with me through multiple trips, through Cosmo's growing up years, through our courtship, engagement, at our wedding and was there during our newlywed days among many other milestones. We were looking at getting a new camera anyway but not this soon and were not going to get rid of that one. The good part is that I had dumped all of my pictures onto my computer so I didn't lose any of those. But I feel lucky it was only that and not something more important. It's not the end of the world but I won't be posting pictures for a while.
