Our year so far...

Well, 2010 ended really well for us at the Westwood home. The beginning of 2011 was kind of a downer but things are looking up again. I'm getting over being sick and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. Some things going on around our house... Scott's cousin called and said that he had a TV that was ours at his house. I don't recall this TV and Scott vaguely remembers it but it is a lot bigger than our 12 inch TV so we brought it home. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't have a remote. SO... we programed this bad boy...
Someone gave this to us (I can't remember who), but they gave it to us thinking Scott would think it's funny. We both think it's funny and we programmed it to our TV. It can make laser sounds when you push the buttons. Although not "trekkies", we find great humor in this remote.

As for our boy...he has found his favorite place in the house and he goes and stands there until we open the blinds each day. Then he sits there all afternoon.
And last but not least, I have a fabulous husband who buys me flowers (that still look this amazing after 2 weeks). I love him more than words can express and I'm so grateful that for his unconditional love. I'm a lucky lucky girl!

The close of another year...

Another year has come to a close and it's probably been the most eventful and the best close of a year we've had since we've been married. Our Christmas was awesome! I didn't take many pictures (which I know I will regret in years to come, and IS one of my resolutions), but here are a few...

Christmas Eve we had our favorite foods...
I cooked for quite a while to get this on, but it was so heavenly.

Christmas morning came and we rolled out of bed at around 9. It is so great to be able to get up when we felt like it.

Cosmo's Christmas picture.

The best part of the last week is that we got to spend so much time with family! Scott's parents, brother and his wife drove from Missouri and were able to spend a couple days with us here in Price. We also spent a lot of time with them throughout the week in SLC and Logan.

New Year's Eve we were able to spend some time with my family. We stayed with them while we were up there but we were so busy with Scott's family and other obligations that that was the only night we were able to spend some quality time with them and it was a lot of fun.

New Year's brought a visit to freezing Logan for a baptism for our nephew. We are always glad when we can attend special events in the lives of our family.

We are now home and there is no place we would rather be. We are excited for all of the adventures we have planned for this year and we know that each year is what you make it, so we plan on making this one the best one yet!
