Bye-bye cable
Well, it's bye-bye to cable TV in our home! We haven't been happy with our TV service for a long time. We have basic cable which is about 50 channels but we don't watch enough TV to justify keeping it (and all of the shows that we watch are available online). We considered getting rid of it a few months ago but our local provider requires that you have to have either phone or cable with your Internet, and there is no way we were giving up Internet. So we found a new company in town that will let us get Internet alone for a cheaper price. So we will be saving $40 a month which will be nice. We'll see how this pans out, I anticipate some withdrawals in the coming weeks.

We got rid of ours and haven't missed it at all. All you need is Hulu and you're good (for the most part). :)
I am totally jealous. I wish we could get rid of cable, well tv really in my home. I don't ever see that happening though. Let us know how that goes!
We've been without cable for almost a year. Kevin would like it to watch the Jazz games but he doesn't have the time so we can't justify it. We didn't watch a ton so it wasn't missed all that much. Good luck.
TV is over rated..
