All I have to say is that it was bliss!
I got a Super Nintendo when I was in high school for Christmas one year. It's been at my parents house all these years and I finally brought it home. Super Mario brings back so many floods of memories. I still rock at it though. It's been fun to relive those memories and have something new to do with some of my spare time. Scott said that it would make him appreciate his Xbox 360 even more. But it is SUPER fun!
We have strawberries!
And our pepper is getting so big!
Our sugarsnap pees are finally growing up.
And our green beans are growing like crazy!
For Scott's birthday week I tried to make him some special food, since he loves food. I made meatloaf for the first time. I know that probably sounds crazy but meatloaf is by far my least favorite dish in the world. I don't like ground beef at all and especially not with the meatloaf ingredients. But Scott loves it and I wanted to make it for him. It turned out really good and Scott was in heaven. It was actually pretty easy, I can't believe I've never made it before. Then on his birthday all he wanted was potato salad, pasta salad and smokies. It was super tasty. That's what he would have every year for his birthday. I need to branch out on cooking more often, it was fun!
This has gotten worse since I've moved to a small town. Each time I come up to SLC I am reminded of how annoying drivers are here. I think that people need to retake driver's ed every 5 years. For instance, the left lane is called a "passing lane", it is not just an extra lane for traffic to hang out in. You use it to pass people and then you get over. If there is someone behind you going faster and wanting to pass you, it is now a law that you HAVE to move over for them, even if they are going 100 MPH, you are breaking the law by not moving over to let them pass. I'm not saying that Price drivers are better because they are still typical Utah drivers, but we don't have the traffic to make it obvious. I've driven in quite a few states in this country and Utah by far is the worst. (Now I don't know how any of my Utahn blogger friends are good or bad drivers so I'm not making a shot at any of you, just venting.)
and
Scott's truck Jo-Kenzie (named by my nieces Ali-Jo and Kenzie) has been for sale for a year now and it finally sold! We loved this truck but with Scott going back to school we knew we couldn't keep it. Thanks to some help from Scott's parents it finally sold. It's a bitter/sweet departure but it will have a great time in Kentucky now.

And lastly we have our cucumbers.
